Secretary’s Message

Welcome to Shree Santkrupa Shikshan Sanstha and our Shree Santkrupa College of Pharmacy & Research Centre.

Shree Santkrupa Shikshan Sanstha (SSSS) is a Public Charitable Trust committed to the cause of Education. We operate a group of institutions that cater largely to the population in & around Karad in the Satara District of Maharashtra, India. Since its establishment in 1996 the Sanstha has been working with the sole mission of providing quality education to the young minds of the country.

Shree Santkrupa College of Pharmacy (SSCOP) is one of the well known Pharmacy Institutes in Western Maharashtra. We operate the under-graduate, post-graduate & doctoral programs in Pharmacy. Established in 2004 & affiliated to Shivaji University in Kolhapur, the Institute is now well recognised with its qualified faculty, adequate labs, infrastructure etc.

I have often said that Pharmaceutical Professionals are the silent warriors of the Health-care Community. They do not get the same appreciation as the front line workers such as Doctors, Nurses etc. And yet, without the correct medicines & formulations a Doctor will not be able to heal his patient.

Since early 2020 we have seen the havoc brought upon the world by the Covid - 19 pandemic. The pandemic hit India in March 2020 and at that time no one could have predicted that we would have multiple vaccines in less than a year. It is said that making a new vaccine takes at least 5 to 10 years and it is almost a miracle that we have so many vaccines today to fight Covid - 19. The scientists, pharmacists & researchers who made this possible deserve the highest honour.

At SSCOP, we are cognisant of the future that we are nurturing. We believe that with the education we are providing, our students would go on to alleviate the suffering of mankind in big & small ways. Under the leadership of our Principal, Dr. Vijayanand Aralelimath, our institute is flowering into an ideal centre of learning & I am confident that you are making the right choice by choosing us.
