Message from Head of the Department

Pharmacology is one of the common subject among medical and paramedical courses, divided into pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics. Pharmacokinetics is what body does to the drugs and Pharmacodynamics is what drug does to the body before elimination. It is one of the most exciting areas of drug research which includes preclinical and clinical studies.

With the aim to bestow quality pharmacy education to the learners, the department of pharmacology trains the students in learning Anatomy, Physiology & Pathophysiology, Pharmacology & Toxicology. The department comprises of enthusiastic senior as well as young dynamic faculties with keen interest in academic excellence.

Students are motivated to conduct research activities with emphasis on effect of drugs in animals. The Department of Pharmacology has an established animal house for carrying out experiments on animals.

We are organising academic and non-academic activities for the students in order to develop creativity and kindle their interest in Pharmacology. We emphasize on regular counselling so that we can evaluate the progress of the students and guide them accordingly on the way to success.
